In Eldora, you’ll spend your days meeting a diverse group of people including tech experts, students, hippies, and many others. Once the sun sets though, Eldora truly comes to life.
GO ON A BAR CRAWL
Whether you enjoy drinking or simply love the cozy pub atmosphere, Eldora has plenty of places to go. The First Street Pub and Grill and the Very Nice Brewing Co. in Nederland are two popular spots for those on their first pub crawl. Once you’ve enjoyed those, move on to the Pioneer Inn. The staff there specializes in quality Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, and rock and roll bands entertain guests every night. Every genre of rock is represented, from classics and oldies to heavy metal. Ask the staff for an entertainment schedule.
If beer is not your favorite drink, Eldora’s pubs and bars have plenty of other options. One of their most unique is the “Meadery,” which specializes in honey wine. Its bars also serve several popular drinks including wines, mixed drinks, and nonalcoholic beverages.
HAVE A ROMANTIC DINNER
One of the best parts of Eldora is their diverse fine dining. They have a plethora of eating options that cover everything from old-fashioned American fare to more exotic choices. The Corona Bowl Bar is a great place to get classic bar food like wings, nachos, and burgers. If you want something more substantial, try the Wild Mountain Smokehouse’s succulent barbecue.
Maybe you and your fellow diners want to travel off the beaten path. If that’s the case, Kathmandu offers Indian and Nepalese food, while Ned Thai offers all sorts of Thai cuisine. Black Forest caters to diners who love hearty German and Bavarian food, including elk steak and homemade apple strudel.
